2008 Championship Handicaps

The WA Championship Class handicaps are listed on the last page of the official rules. The following errata apply to the handicap list:

• ASW 28 reference weight should be changed from 350kg to 370kg
• Discus 2 reference weight should be changed from 350kg to 360kg
• DG505 reference weight should be changed from 500kg to 625kg
• DG1000 reference weight should be changed from 750kg to 617kg

The above calculator uses the formula in Rule 6.2.2 to calculate any handicaps which will be used if you fly over the Reference Weight for your glider. For the Weight to Handicap function you enter your glider's Reference Weight, your declared flying weight, and your glider's nominal Club Class Handicap, then the yellow output box will show your adjusted handicap for this specific flying weight. The Handicap to Weight is just an addition that may be handy, where you enter a desired adjusted handicap and the yellow box will output what flying weight you require to achieve that handicap.
